Update 2 p.m. – Officials say the suspect is in custody.
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Officials in northeast Oklahoma City were involved in a standoff on Wednesday afternoon.
On Wednesday afternoon, police were attempting to serve a warrant at a home near N.E. 36th St. and Kelley Ave.
At one point, the situation turned into a standoff and the tactical team was called to the scene.
So far, officials are encouraging drivers to avoid the area.
