Oklahoma police chief arrested after allegedly stealing from evidence room

LOCUST GROVE, Okla. (KFOR) – A police chief in one Oklahoma community has been charged after he allegedly stole various items from the police department.

Authorities arrested 47-year-old Charles Williams after he was accused of stealing drugs and weapons from the evidence room.

Williams is the police chief for the Locust Grove Police Department.

The Locust Grove City Council suspended Williams with pay.
