OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – One person was injured in an apartment fire on Monday morning.

Just before 11 a.m. on Monday, Oklahoma City firefighters were called to an apartment fire near Rockwell Ave. and Melrose.

Officials say one person did suffer burns to their hands and smoke inhalation. However, the extent of their injuries is unknown.

At this point, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
