One killed in helicopter crash in Noble County

NOBLE COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – One person is dead and another is recovering after a helicopter crash in Noble County.

Officials say the aircraft crashed near I-35 and Hwy 412.

Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say they were not made aware of any trouble prior to the crash. They described the scene as horrific.

The helicopter was privately owned and two people were on board at the time.

The National Transportation Safety Board says it’s investigating the crash.
