USGS: 3.1 magnitude earthquake recorded near Quinton

QUINTON, Okla. (KFOR) – Residents in one Oklahoma community may have felt the ground move during an earthquake on Wednesday.

Around 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported a 3.1 magnitude earthquake near the town of Quinton.

The epicenter was recorded about two miles northeast of Quinton.
