EDMOND, Okla. – Looking for something for you and your companion to do in this nice weather?

Edmond Fine Arts Institute has just the solution to your problem!

Institute of Edmond is hosting “Pets in the Park”, on Saturday, May 31st from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mitzi’s Park, 27 E. Edwards.

Registration is five dollars for the pet parade and art contest. The parade and contest begin at 11 a.m.

The Meat House catering truck will be on site providing lunch options.

Attendees can bring their favorite animal pal for the Pet Parade, participate in a pet art contest, get a professional pet photo, shop Danny Gordon’s pet art in the gallery, enjoy pet art activities, look for a new friend at the pet adoption and enter the raffle with great prizes.

All pets must have vaccinations and be on leashes.

Pets can strut their stuff in the pet parade with local celebrity judges. They will be looking for the best in show, best dressed, most unusual pet, cutest critter and best behaved.

People are encouraged to dress pets in fun costumes or attire for the parade which will be on the side-walk in front of the Fine Arts Institute.  Prizes will be awarded.
