OKLAHOMA CITY - A metro man is arrested, accused of aiding in the prostitution of a minor.
It's an arrest that comes not long after an undercover sting.
Kevin Martin, 31, is no stranger to the law.
His most recent arrest involves prostitution, reportedly solicited online.
"It's unfortunate case to have any minor or anyone be subject to prostitution," said Sgt. Ashley Peters with Oklahoma City Police.
It started in December of last year, when police arranged a sting to stop the reported crimes.
Undercover agents would ultimately meet with a woman, who turned out to be a juvenile, at a Days Inn off S. I-35.
"She was one of the prostitutes and was actually arrested as a result of the sting," Peters said.
According to police reports, the then 17-year-old agreed to provide the officer "sexual contact" in exchange for $200.
But, it wasn't a solo venture.
Police learned her hotel room had been booked by Martin, and this wasn't a solo offense.
Court records lay out what a lengthy investigation uncovered.
Martin reportedly had a long history with the juvenile, accused of aiding in prostituting the young woman in multiple states, even leading to her getting pregnant.
Martin was arrested earlier this month, off I-40.
"They were located again on March 5th 2016 near a hotel in an area that's known for prostitution and narcotics," Peters said.
The most recent arrest is yet another mug shot in Martin's lengthy criminal collage.
While the woman is no longer a juvenile, police said they offer her and another other prostitution victims a way out.
"At the time of arrest, they're offered different avenues of how they can seek help, and ultimately it is their choice whether or not they want to do that," Peters said.
