Man arrested for alien hoax

BINZHOU CITY, China–A Chinese man was arrested after admitting that his tale of an alien encounter was a hoax.

According to reports, the man claimed to have encountered five aliens on the banks of the Yellow River about three months ago.

He said one was killed by a high-voltage electric fence and he took the body home, storing it in a freezer.

Police became interested in his story after the man made a website that drew a lot of attention.

CCTV said the man confessed to authorities that it was a hoax.

He said he made the body with rope and bone glue.

He was reportedly given five days of detention on charges of fabricating lies and disrupting normal social order.
