LUTHER, Okla. – A man has been charged with murder after the skull of his alleged victim was found near an Oklahoma highway a few months ago.

Pierre Cleveland was listed as a missing person in Oklahoma City on July 11, 2014.

In April 2015, a man who was searching for wild turkeys stumbled upon a human skull off Highway 66, between Luther and Wellston.

Police later confirmed through DNA testing that the skull belonged to Cleveland.

This week, authorities charged Breon Jackson with Cleveland’s murder.

Jackson was already in jail for an unrelated crime.  Now, he is also facing a charge of first-degree murder.
