OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A man was rushed to the hospital after he was stabbed at a halfway house in Northwest Oklahoma City.

According to police, two men showed up to the halfway house at 10th and MacArthur on Saturday night and confronted a man about a civil matter.

“We located several witnesses who stated that a verbal altercation had occurred between the victim and a couple of suspects,” Captain Ronnie Beck with the Oklahoma City Police Department said.  “One of the suspects produced a knife, stabbing the victim multiple times.”

At some point, the man that was stabbed tried to take himself to the hospital and made it to a gas station where he was able to get help.

“We had one officer that was actually flagged down at 10th and Portland, who located a victim from the stabbing that was trying to self-transport to the hospital,” Captain Beck said.

Two suspects were located near where the attack took place.

“The suspects then quickly fled the scene,” Captain Beck said.  “But were located just a few blocks south at 10th and MacArthur and were taken into custody.”
