Man killed by Sand Springs tornado identified

TULSA, Okla. – Authorities have released the name of the man who was killed by a tornado that hit a mobile home park in Sand Springs.

On Friday, the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 41-year-old Arian Lakey.

According to NBC, up to 60 mobile homes were destroyed when the twister tore through the area.

On Thursday, Gov. Mary Fallin issued a state of emergency for 25 counties across Oklahoma, including Tulsa County.
