NORMAN, Okla. - A man is in jail after police say he chased two teen sisters from the gas station right up to their doorstep.

Angel and Ninfa Garcia walked to the Circle K gas station on the corner of W. Lindsey Street and 24th Ave SW. When they arrived, they saw Titus Peck standing outside.

"He was staring at us," Ninfa said.

After they left, Ninfa said something wasn't right.

"I had this feeling that someone was following me," she said.

When she looked back, it was Peck walking after them, so the two girls started walking faster.

"She told me to hurry," Angel said. "Then, I looked back, then he started running, chasing after us."

Unsure of what he wanted, the girls were running for their lives.

"We just ran home and he ran after us all the way up to our driveway," Angel said.

Their mother was at the house when they arrived, but Peck refused to leave the front porch.

His strange behavior continued when a pizza delivery man arrived.

"He signed for our pizza," Angel said.

The delivery man warned Peck that if he didn't leave, the girls would probably call police, but it was too late. Officers caught up to him just up the street.

Police said while they were interviewing him, he stood up and sprinted down the street. When officers tackled him and took him to the ground, he continued to kick at them with the back of his feet.

According to the affidavit, Peck told officers "he smoked a bowl of meth about two days ago."

When asked if he knew the girls, he said he didn't, and that "he just wanted the girls to feel safe."

The girls were not convinced.

"Now, I'm terrified of walking by myself," Angel said.
