LEFLORE COUNTY, Okla. – A 45-year-old man is dead after he was accidentally run over by a semi-truck.

On Nov. 8, authorities say a man got to the parking lot of a private property when he noticed his semi-truck was running and the load was not hooked up.

He told troopers he looked around for 45-year-old Claud Hale. When he couldn’t find him, he said he assumed that Hale had gone into the building.

He didn’t realize that Hale was under the truck and was greasing the drive train.

At that point, driver got in the truck and backed up to hook up the trailer.

After he hooked up the load, he realized that he accidentally ran over Hale.

Hale was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries.
