OKLAHOMA CITY – A man is in custody, accused of shooting a victim to death in southwest Oklahoma City.

Around 6:45 p.m., police say they were called to reports of a shooting at the Quick-Stop near S.W. 38th and May.

When officers arrived, they found 19-year-old Jose Rubio with gunshot wounds sitting inside a vehicle.

That vehicle had crashed in front of the convenience store, police say.

Rubio was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

On Tuesday afternoon, authorities arrested 18-year-old Jose Perez on one count of first-degree murder.
