Man wanted for attempted murder in Michigan discovered in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY – A man who was wanted for charges in Michigan is now behind bars in Oklahoma County.

Authorities with the Oklahoma City Police Department say they received a tip that 45-year-old Troy Banks was staying at a local apartment complex.

Officials in Michigan had issued a warrant for his arrest for assault with intent to murder.

Officers with the police department and gang task force arrested Banks at the Ashwood Apartments.

He was taken to the Oklahoma County Jail, where he will be transferred to Michigan to face charges.
