OKLAHOMA CITY – On April 1, many will come together to show their support for marriage equality.

At the State Capitol Building on April 1 at 1:00 p.m., prominent Oklahomans, community and religious leaders, parents and supporters from across the state will gather to announce a new coalition formed to demonstrate the public support for the freedom to marry in Oklahoma.

According to a release from The Equality Network, Freedom Oklahoma will lead a statewide public education campaign to promote the marriage conversation across the state.

Freedom Oklahoma also hopes to showcase the diversity of Oklahomans who support marriage equality.
