LAS VEGAS — Floyd Mayweather defeated Manny Pacquiao in a unanimous decision Saturday night.

Due to service issues reported by Time Warner Cable and Charter Communications, the fight was delayed about an hour, but the “fight of the century” kicked off around 9 p.m.

The fight went the full 12 rounds, but about an hour after the first bell was rung, the undefeated Mayweather was announced the unanimous winner of the welterweight world championship unification bout.

The fight was available for purchase on Pay-Per-View for about $100, but neither cable company addressed whether the previous technical issues had been solved. We do not yet know how many customers were impacted by the outage.
