Mega Millions Jackpot hits $400 million, next chance to win Tuesday

No winning tickets were sold for Friday night’s Mega Millions prize, sending the jackpot soaring to $400 million for the next drawing, lottery officials said.

That will make it the seventh largest jackpot in U.S. history.

This jackpot has been building since Jan. 3.

The biggest lottery prize in the U.S. was $656 million Mega Millions jackpot in 2012.

The next drawing will be Tuesday.
