Meth Explosion

Edmond Police say a meth lab explosion at a campground put two people in the hospital. It happened Monday night at the Scissortail Campground at Lake Arcadia. Witness Carl Braun says he heard a couple of muffled explosions then saw a man and woman run out of an RV.

” When she opened the door to get out of there she was screaming and smoke came out of the door. The husband stayed inside the motor home and put it out”.

The 36-year-old woman suffered burns to 50% of her body. The 43-year-old man suffered burns to his face and hands. Both are currently being treated at the hospital.

THE WOMAN is 36. SHE SUFFERED 3rd DEGREE BURNS TO 50 PERCENT OF HER BODY. THE MALE IS 43 AND SUFFERED 2nd DEGREE BURNS TO HIS ARMS AND FACE.
EDMOND POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING THIS AS A POSSIBE METH LAB EXPLOSION.
