OKLAHOMA CITY – An Edmond man was arrested for raping a child after the girl reported the alleged sexual abuse to her youth pastor.
On July 24, police were alerted to a child who was allegedly being sexually abused by 37-year-old Dallas Frank.
The child had told her youth pastor that Frank had been molesting her on a daily basis since May 30, 2016, the police report states.
The youth pastor then reported the abuse to the child’s mother, who immediately reported it to police.
According to a police report, the victim said Frank had filmed some of the alleged sex acts.
Frank was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.
He is facing multiple charges, including first-degree rape of a victim under 16, forcible oral sodomy, manufacturing child pornography, rape by instrumentation and sexual abuse of a child.
