MINCO, Okla. – Minco public schools are closed again today, after a flu and strep throat outbreak.

School officials say about 50 kids are out sick, and most of them are elementary school students.

Most parents say they agree with the school district’s decision to cancel classes on Monday and Tuesday.

School officials made the call to close campuses for a few days to keep kids from getting sick.

Meanwhile, crews are scrubbing down the schools and disinfecting the classrooms.

Athletic activities for the schools will go on as scheduled.

Parents in Minco will be notified on Tuesday whether class will be back to normal Wednesday.
