Update: 13-year-old student arrested after allegedly making bomb threat at Moore school

MOORE, Okla. – A junior high school in Moore was evacuated Monday morning after a threatening note was discovered in a bathroom.

Officials with the Moore Police Department say a note was discovered in a bathroom at Moore’s Central Junior High School.

Bomb sniffing dogs from the University of Oklahoma Police Department and the Norman Police Bomb Unit searched the school but did not find any suspicious devices.

On Monday afternoon, the police department announced that a 13-year-old student had been arrested for suspicion of making a bomb threat, which police believe is a hoax.
