LOGAN COUNTY, Okla. – More than 100 hay bales caught fire in Logan County overnight.

Around 1 a.m., fire crews were called to a fire near Hiawasee Road and County Road 73.

When crews arrived, they found more than 100 hay bales on fire.

At this time, it is unclear how the fire started.

Firefighters are letting the fire burn, but monitoring embers that could spark more flames.

They are hoping the rainfall in the area will help them put out the blaze.

The farmer affected by the fire told KFOR crews that the fire destroyed about $6,000 worth of hay.

The farmer said he is just happy no one was hurt.
