OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say a Guthrie man is dead after an accident along an interstate last week.

Around 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 24, officers were called to an accident on northbound I-35 near N.E. 10th St.

Police say a truck lost control of its flatbed trailer and jack-knifed, running off the road.

While the truck driver tried to get out of the way, a motorcyclist hit the trailer.

Authorities say 37-year-old Charles Hooper III fell off his bike after the crash and was then hit by two other vehicles.

However, one vehicle fled the scene of the accident.

Hooper was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Currently, the accident is under investigation.
