Mourners gather for fallen Oklahoma Trooper

BROKEN BOW, Okla. — The funeral for a fallen Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper was held Saturday.

The funeral service for Trooper Nicholas Dees was held at 12 p.m. at the Broken Bow High School in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

Dees died after a vehicle hit him while he was on duty investigating a collision involving an overturned semi Feb. 1, 2015.

He is survived by his wife and two children.
