Downtown Guthrie fire under control; fiddle, flower shops in ruins

GUTHRIE, Okla. – Officials say a structure fire in the heart of Downtown Guthrie is finally under control after hours of firefighting Saturday afternoon.

Scanner traffic reports the fire started in the flower shop on Oklahoma Ave. and Division. Scanner traffic also indicates a structure has collapsed during the operation.

The historic Double Stop Fiddle Shop & Furrow Flowers were both destroyed in the fire.

There is no word yet on how this fire started.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
