SAN JOSE, Calif. – Authorities in California are investigating a senseless crime that left two people dead.
Decades ago, Golam and Shamima Rabbi left Bangladesh to make a new life in America.
Friends described the couple to KGO-TV as humble, polite and peaceful.
That’s why what happened to them left many in the community speechless.
Friends say they became concerned when they hadn’t heard from the couple for several days, so they stopped by their home and found an unlocked sliding glass door.
When they went inside, they found the couple’s bodies on the floor.
A source told KGO-TV that investigators found a message written in ink on the floor that read, “Sorry, my first kill was clumsy.”
Police say the victims were shot at least once.
At this point, they do not have a suspect or a motive.
