Naked, growling man allegedly assaults father and police

OKLAHOMA CITY – Officers say a 44-year-old Oklahoma City man was arrested for a pair of charges after allegedly threatening and assaulting his 71-year-old father and a police officer.

On Wednesday, police were called to an Oklahoma City home in reference to a domestic disturbance.

When they arrived, they met a 71-year-old man who says his son was drinking all day and acting out.

The man told officials 44-year-old Todd Wells came downstairs and started yelling, flexing his muscles, growling and gritting his teeth.

He went back upstairs and came back a few seconds later completed naked.

According to the police affidavit, Wells allegedly said, “I am going to kill you” before sticking his behind in the man’s face.

Officers say Wells allegedly hit the man several times with a closed fist.

After police put Wells in the back of the police car, authorities say he said, “If anything happens to anyone, someone will die.”

Once inside the patrol car, Wells allegedly began kicking the door and window.

When an officer came to the car, Wells allegedly spit in his face.

Wells was arrested for a threatening act of violence and assault and battery.
