OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City police are looking for the person who killed a man at a home earlier this week.

Just after 4 p.m. on Thursday, 28-year-old Brendon Turner was found dead inside a home along S. Kelley Ave.

Neighbors are feeling unsettled after learning of Turner's death.

"When I got up this morning, to me, I felt like the reason why it's raining is because God's crying because one of his children was hurt," Peggy Crabtree said.

Authorities say they believe someone is responsible for Turner's death. A medical examiner later determined the cause of death to be homicide by multiple sharp force injuries.

Crabtree did not know anything was wrong until police were outside her door.

"They talked to me yesterday just for a few minutes, asked me if I saw anything and I told them I didn't see anything or know anything, and they checked my backyard to see if there was a, I guess, a weapon or anything like that," Crabtree said.

Investigators say Turner's mother found him dead inside his home.

"Obviously, anyone finding their loved one would be surprising and hurtful," Sgt. Ashley Peters, with the Oklahoma City Police Department, said.

We are told Turner was staying at his uncle's to help take care of things.

"I just couldn't believe he was the one who was hurt and he died 'cause I had taken some muffins over the day before," Crabtree said.

Crabtree describes Turner as a gentleman.

"Sweet, loving, giving," she said.

As police investigate the crime, many are wondering how this could happen.

"I just hope they find who the person was and I hope that they find the closure the family needs," Crabtree said.

If you have any information about what happened to Turner, call the Homicide Tip-Line.

The number is 405-297-1200.
