HOUSTON – New surveillance video shows an 11-year-old Houston boy walking home just moments before his death.

Last week, Josue Flores was walking home from middle school when he was stabbed to death.

Police say the attack was unprovoked.

A homeless man was arrested for the attack, but he provided police with a credible alibi and was released.

Shocked by the brutal murder, people in the community vowed to help find the boy’s killer, KHOU reports.

One neighbor searched through their surveillance video and found Josue walking by their home just moments before his death.

The video shows Josue walking alone on the sidewalk.

The neighbor who looked through her surveillance video told KHOU she is searching through more video to see if she has any possible images of Josue’s killer.

Authorities are still searching for the boy’s killer.

According to KPRC, Houston’s mayor asked the police department to use all available resources to help solve the case.
