Update: Norman Police say no signs of foul play in investigation of body found in park

NORMAN, Okla. – The Norman Police Department is investigating a body found in a remote part of the Sutton Wilderness Park.

Officials say the body was discovered by a passerby on the side of a remote trail.

The park is located at 1920 12th Ave NE in Norman.

The preliminary report from the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office shows no signs of trauma or foul play related to the death of the individual.

Officials say initial indications are that the deceased was homeless.

Authorities are not releasing the identity until next of kin can be notified.

The incident remains under investigation by the NPD Criminal Investigations Division.
