Obama returns to Washington from Hawaii

After two weeks in Hawaii, President Obama and his two daughters returned to Washington Sunday.

Malia and Sasha accompanied their father down the steps of Air Force One early Sunday morning.

The first lady is staying in Hawaii a few extra days to celebrate her birthday with friends as part her gift from her husband.

She turns 50 on January 17th.

Meanwhile, the President will get back on his political and legislative agenda for 2014 this week.

That list includes such hot topics as the economy, the future of Obamacare, raising the minimum wage and surveillance programs.

Also, the President will lobby congress on an extension of unemployment benefits that expired at the end of the year.
