OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities are searching for an SUV that injured two teenagers walking along a busy road.

On Sept. 9, officers were called to the 1300 block of N. County Line Rd. after learning about a child being hit by a car.

When police arrived, they spoke with a teenager who said he and his friend had been hit by a car while walking in the grass by the road.

According to the arrest affidavit, the victim told police that he heard a vehicle accelerate behind him before he was hit.

A witness told officers that he saw several cars swerving to go around the children and noticed an SUV that was not swerving and then heard kids screaming.

Other witnesses say the SUV swerved and tried to hit two other children before swerving again and hitting the two victims.

Now, authorities are searching for a maroon 2007 to 2010 Saturn Outlook.

Police say the suspect’s vehicle will have damage to the right front bumper and have a broken headlight cover.
