MIDWEST CITY, Okla. - Police have found and arrested, for the second time, a man accused of burglary who got away Friday evening.

Authorities said 31-year-old Joshua Colley was arrested, handcuffed and put in the back of the police cruiser in connection to a burglary.

Chief Conny Clay said somehow the restrained suspect managed to get from the backseat into the driver’s seat and drive away.

"He was handcuffed, hands behind him, legs shackled and seatbelted in,” Chief Clay said. “We don't really know how he got up there."

After a car chase, the suspect was able to get away.

Authorities later found him at a Midwest City hotel.

According to police, he broke into his hotel room.

He was still wearing his handcuffs when they found him.

Colley was once again arrested and police recovered the cop car in a nearby parking lot.
