OKLAHOMA CITY – More than 300 chickens were killed in a south Oklahoma City fire.
Around 5:15 a.m., firefighters were called to S.E. 104th and Luther Rd. on reports of a fire.
A metal barn was fully involved when crews arrived.
One of the owners of the barn told KFOR that approximately 300 show quality chickens were killed in the fire.
Approximately 120 eggs were also destroyed.
Fire crews are investigating how the fire started.
