Officials investigating after fire destroys local Burger King

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – Officials are investigating after a fire destroyed a local Burger King.

Officials say around 9:20 p.m., fire crews received a call about a fire near 300 S. Midwest Blvd.  When crews arrived, they found the Burger King fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters battled the flames for about an hour and a half.

Officials say the building is a complete loss.

Fortunately, there were no injuries.

At this time, investigators do not know the cause of the fire.
