Officials investigating death after man is found dead inside Checotah home

MCINTOSH COUNTY, Okla. – State authorities are investigating a homicide in McIntosh County.

Around 4 p.m. Sunday, a family member discovered 64-year-old Ronnie Crenshaw dead inside his Checotah home.

Officials with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation say Crenshaw had trauma to his body consistent with homicide.

The medical examiner’s office will perform an autopsy to determine exact cause of death.

Until then, agents are searching for the person who committed the murder.
