OKLAHOMA CITY – Drivers in Oklahoma City may need to take a detour on Friday morning after crews found a hole in a bridge.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says the left lane of southbound I-35 is closed between Wilshire Blvd. and N.E. 63rd St. until 4 p.m. on  Friday.

Crews learned that there was an 8 inch by 6 inch hole in the 63rd St. bridge that was affecting traffic.

Officials say that ramps remain open, but drivers should expect delays.

If at all possible, find an alternate route.
