OKC Barons trade hockey sticks for hammers for Habitat for Humanity

DEL CITY, Okla. – The OKC Barons are trading their hockey sticks for hammers Tuesday.

The team, coaches and staff members are building a home for the Habitat for Humanity.

The framework begins Tuesday for the new house in the Epperly Heights neighborhood in Del City.

Construction starts at about 8:30 a.m.

This is the fourth straight year the Barons have volunteered for Habitat for Humanity.
