OKLAHOMA CITY – Paycom, a provider of payroll and HR services technology, collected its second-consecutive Inc. Hire Power Award Wednesday, a distinction bestowed to U.S.- based, private companies that are leading the way in creating American jobs.

The Oklahoma City-based company was featured in the Top 100, checking in at No. 33. The ranking recognized Paycom as being among the top job creators in the payroll and human capital management technology industry.

Paycom was the only Oklahoma company ranked in the Top 100 and bested its ranking from last year, jumping 49 spots from No. 82.

“Our team is extremely proud to be recognized for a second consecutive year as a leader in job creation,” Paycom Founder and CEO Chad Richison said.

Paycom has created approximately 357 jobs over a two-year span and has 750-plus employees located at its headquarters and sales offices across the country.

With proprietary cloud-based HR and payroll software that streamlines efficiencies for employers, Paycom continues to see its revenue grow year after year and plans to continue adding employees at its headquarters and in offices across the nation. Its award-winning employee culture includes ongoing training and career growth opportunities.

“For the second year in a row, we are pleased to recognize the employers who are putting Americans back to work for a second time,” says Eric Schurenberg, editor-in-chief of Inc. “The Hire Power Awards are the only awards that single out job creators. We think it’s fitting to pay tribute to company founders not just for their business prowess but also for their immense contribution to the welfare of U.S. workers and the vitality of the U.S. economy.”

The Inc. Hire Power Award is for U.S.-based, private companies (both for profit and non-profit). Companies must have been founded in 2011 or earlier and have employed at least 10 full-time, U.S.-based employees as of Dec. 31, 2012. Companies must complete the Employee Verification Report.

An award ceremony, sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, will take place Nov. 12 in San Francisco.
