OKLAHOMA CITY – Emergency crews are now testing the white powdery substance found at an Oklahoma City law firm Thursday morning.

Hazmat crews cleared the scene at the Michael Brooks-Jimenez Law Office at 5708 S. Western Ave.

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City law firm is evacuated after a report of a white substance was found in a letter.

It happened at the Michael Brooks-Jimenez Law Office at 5708 S. Western Ave.

Investigators say the firm received the letter Wednesday, and the worker opened it Thursday morning just before 9 a.m.

According to investigators,  that worker found a white powdery substance in the letter and called 911.

The person who opened the letter is being quarantined as a precaution until investigators know for sure what was in the letter.

Emergency crews say the law office is shut down and employees are evacuated.
