MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – Oklahoma authorities are asking for your help cracking a murder case.

Flames engulfed the Midwest City home on June 21, 2014.

After the fire was extinguished, officials discovered Shelby Hughes and Bryan VanAssche murdered inside of the home.

“There’s evidence at the scene that obviously directs us toward suspicious death, information we can’t release at this time because only the perpetrator would know as the cause or manner of death,” Police Chief Brandon Clabes told KFOR in June.

The Midwest City Police Department is now offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Midwest City Police Department at (405)739-1306.
