OKLAHOMA — Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers are stepping into action to help homeowners remove trees and limbs damaged by the recent ice storm.

The disaster recovery group will be helping Oklahomans statewide.

If you need assistance with your trees, call any of the following three numbers:

  • 405-443-7583
  • 405-388-6912
  • 405-415-5261

Elderly people, people with disabilities, and single mothers will be given priority.

“Our volunteers are ready to serve anyone in need following all kinds of disasters,” said Oklahoma Baptist Relief Coordinator Sam Porter.

OBDR volunteers will conduct an assessment on each property before debris removal begins. Requests for service will be prioritized based on the severity of the situation.

Disaster Relief assistance call lines are answered by volunteers during normal business hours, 8 am to 5 pm weekdays. Due to high phone call volume, people may also use the web form to request assistance at http://www.okdisasterhelp.org/request-assistance/.
