OKLAHOMA CITY – Emergency crews rushed to an Oklahoma City airport after an aircraft called for help.

Around 12:25 p.m. on Tuesday, fire crews and first responders were called to Wiley Post Airport.

Initial reports say a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft called for help after realizing it was experiencing issues with its landing gear.

The caller said a light indicated his landing gear was not functioning correctly but he did have people on the ground attempting to verify that.

Shortly after 12:35 p.m., the plane was able to land safety at the airport.

At this time, there is no word on the number of passengers on the plane.
