OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City animal shelter is asking for your help.

They’re asking for donations for the shelter’s 700 pets this holiday season.

They need toys for dogs and cats as well as blankets and towels for bedding.

Supervisors say items like these reduce the animals’ stress levels keeping them healthier and more adoptable.

More than 6,400 pets have been adopted so far this year.

You can drop off donations at the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter located at S.E. 29th St. and Bryant.

They’re open every day from noon to 5:45 p.m.
