Oklahoma City firefighter, police officer save bird bound in string, stuck in bush

OKLAHOMA CITY – Thanks to the help of an Oklahoma City firefighter and police officer, a bird is flying and free again!

The Oklahoma City Fire Department says a bird was found in string and stuck in a bush near N.W. 122nd and May on Friday.

Thankfully, the firefighter and police officer were able to remove the string and free the bird.

Officials with the Oklahoma City Fire Department say the bird then flew away unharmed!
