OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say an Oklahoma City man is facing dozens of charges linked to a series of vandalism cases.

According to the probable cause affidavit, officers were able to identify 20-year-old Jose Rafeal Martinez as an alleged suspect behind dozens of graffiti cases.

Investigators say the moniker ‘WOKE’ was used in several graffiti cases spanning from Oct. 10, 2014 through Aug. 5, 2016.

The affidavit claims that Martinez admitted to using the name and defacing property.

Officials say the City of Oklahoma City requested $4,802.50 in restitution for 43 separate vandalism incidents.

Martinez was charged with 43 misdemeanor counts of maliciously defacing property of another.
