Oklahoma City man killed in motorcycle crash near Tahlequah

TAHLEQUAH, Okla.– The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says an Oklahoma City man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a recreational vehicle.

The OHP says 51-year-old Fred Sumpter died in the collision Friday on U.S. Highway 62 near Tahlequah.

A police report says Sumpter was eastbound when he slowed, then lost control of the motorcycle and crossed the center line and collided with the RV.

The driver and a passenger in the RV were not injured.
