OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police are investigating a homicide, after two bodies were found in a northwest Oklahoma City home.
Around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to a home near N.W. 122nd St. and May Ave. on a double homicide.
Originally, police said they received a call from a neighbor asking them to check on the welfare of the people inside of the home.
When officers arrived, they found the bodies of two adults.
Family members said the home was being used as a home daycare, and three children were inside at the time but were not related to the victims.
“Luckily, they weren’t injured in any way, shape or form,” said Sergeant Ashley Peters with Oklahoma City Police.
At this point, no suspects have been identified, and the victims’ identities are not being released.
However, a large group of people did gather outside of the crime scene, grieving that they’d lost their loved ones.
“He didn’t deserve it, and she didn’t deserve it,” said Brenda Jackson. “I just don’t know why either one of them are dead.”
