OKLAHOMA CITY - Dozens of state and federal agents raided a local smoke shop Wednesday morning.

Multiple agencies including the Drug Enforcement Agency, Homeland Security, the Oklahoma City Police Department and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics took part in the raid.

The raid stretched all over the metro, including at Ziggyz Smoke Shop on N. Pennslyvania Ave. and a warehouse near Wiley Post.

The sign on the front of that warehouse reads 'Core Office Furniture,' but those who work in the industrial park say the furniture business closed years ago.

They weren't surprised when sheriff's deputies and undercover drug agents showed up to raid the business.

"I'm sure nobody's shocked over here," said Shaun Marks. "You know, we were under the assumption something wasn't right."

Marks helps run a carpet business across the street.

Neighbors have long suspected the warehouse was used by Ziggyz, though agents on the raid wouldn't confirm anything.

"I went over to ask what was going on and they said they couldn't elaborate," said Marks.

In addition to the warehouse, agents spent several hours inside the Ziggyz on Penn and a second location on MacArthur.

Agents also raided a home in the upscale Gaillardia neighborhood.

The raid comes exactly one month after law enforcement raided a different smoke shop called Mr. Coolz for allegedly selling synthetic marijuana, known as K2, and illegal drug paraphernalia.

So far, no arrests have been announced in the bust at Ziggyz.

Marks says if the smoke shop is breaking the law, he hopes the owner is held accountable.

"If there's something not right going on, we need to clean it up, you know," said Marks.

All the agencies involved told NewsChannel 4 to contact the U.S. attorney for details on the raid.

Officials with that office said they cannot comment or confirm anything related to the investigation.
